Additional info: A lot of people seem to think they know me because they’ve
seen me online, but do they know the real Eve Blake? You
might be surprised at just how normal I am when I’m not all
dolled up and being a “Glamour-puss”. I was born in the
Florida Keys and moved around a lot as a kid. I have a
close-knit family spread out all over the US, and I tend to
travel a lot even now. I love camping out in the middle of
nowhere, either in the mountains, the desert, the woods, or
especially on the beach. You could say I love the simple
things in life: hanging out with my family and friends, being
around animals, sunny days, rainy nights, warm cookies right
out of the oven… I could go on and on.
But even though I’m a tomboy at heart, I still have my girly
side. I love to put on makeup, get a facial, get my hair done
(I tend to dye my hair a lot, so you never know what color it
will be), get all dressed up for dinner and dancing. And I
LOVE playing in front of the camera, but you already knew
that!
I also have an academic and professional streak. I was
valedictorian of my high school, and won a merit scholarship
to a private university. I got a Bachelor’s Degree in English
Literature and Composition. I always thought I would be a
writer, but either didn’t have enough motivation to write or
didn’t have a good story to tell. So I went into editing,
which had its ups and downs. Then I discovered modeling and
worked at it part-time while keeping a “real” job. When I
lost that job due to restructuring, I decided to give
full-time modeling a go and opened my website up the first
time. I was very successful for a few months and really
enjoyed what I was doing. People really seemed to respond to
my pictures.
Then, a painful and frightening thing happened. One night,
while driving home from a friend’s house, I was hit by a
drunk driver and my back was broken. I spent several weeks in
the hospital and had two surgeries, which successfully
rebuilt my spine. I had to wear a back brace for three months
and undergo lots of physical therapy. When it first happened,
I was afraid I’d never be the same. I was afraid my scars
(not to mention the titanium rods that were installed in my
back) would prevent me from modeling again. I closed down my
site and thought about moving on. But the love of modeling
just kept bringing me back. Photographers and fans alike
called and emailed, asking me when I’d be coming back to
modeling. And now, over a year later, I have.
When Ms. Ivy Faulkner, PrivateIvy.com, emailed and asked if I
would be interested in working with her to open a site, I
jumped at the chance. It’s really great to work with another
model, especially one as sweet and sexy as her. I hope you’ll
enjoy looking at my site as much as I enjoy making it. Once
you join, I hope you’ll email me to tell me what you liked
the best. I can’t wait to hear from you all!
Love & Kisses Always,
