Additional info: "I was born and raised in the hot, humid South from a
close-knit family. Everyone was kind and knew each other in
the small, country town where I grew up. I was always
involved in sports such as gymnastics, dance, cheerleading,
and tennis. I was a very active person. School was
interesting and fun to me, so heading straight to college was
a given. I attended University of Kentucky for two years then
transferred to University of Louisville where I graduated
with a BA in Psychology in 1998. Frustrated with bouncing
from job to job as a waitress, I sought a more challenging
lifestyle and career in general. My New Year’s Resolution on
Dec 31st, 1998 was to get into the best shape of my life.
And, I sure did stick to it! Weight training, cardio, and
healthy eating all became a part of my life instantly! I
started working out hardcore at Powerhouse Gym, Louisville,
KY six to seven days a week and noticed a change in my body
quickly. So did everyone else! Later, I entered and won the
Original Homemade Bikini Contest in 1999 – my first contest!
That gave me confidence to further my career. In May 2000 I
ran my first mini-marathon which took 4 months of training.
During that time I shot with several fitness photographers
where my pictures ended up in Musclemag, Musclemag Just
Swimsuits, and American Health and Fitness. All that hard
work paid off! Now fitness is a lifestyle for me as I
currently work as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor
in California. Print work, promotional work, spokes modeling,
and acting are a major part of my career now. I hope to grow
in the entertainment business as much as possible. With a
positive mental focus, you can do what ever you wish!"
