Additional info: "At the "Mid-Summer's-Nite Dream Party 2000, I felt like
Cinderella at the Ball; as I entered the Playboy Mansion for
the very first time... that will always be an awesome memory
in my life. I didn't want that night to ever end. But that
was just the beginning of my Cinderella story... I was
invited back again to attend the Valentines Party 2001 and I
met Hef for the first time. He scheduled a test shoot. I was
then selected to be Miss August 2001!!! And with that, like
the stroke of a magic wand -- my life changed forever!!! I am
very proud and excited to be a member of the Playboy family.
As a centerfold and a bunny, I want to represent women in a
very positive way as Playboy has been doing for over 50
years.
I come from a very close family, and everyone has been in
total support of my being a playmate. I was born and raised
on Youngstown, Ohio and am one of four children (I have an
older sister and 2 younger brothers). Growing up in Ohio was
great! Our childhood was filled with swimming, boating,
camping, ice skating, cheerleading and dance classes. Our
house was filled with kids and all kinds of animals. I've
always wanted to become a veterinarian. In October 1996, I
visited Los Angeles and decided to stay. I have to admit the
first few years were rough -- I worked two jobs most of the
time in retail and cocktail to make it. I enrolled at Santa
Monica College to study business and also took make up
classes on the side. Then in 2000 I moved to Chicago, all to
be back east so I could be closer to my Grandmother, who was
very ill. After she passed away I moved back to Los Angeles
in January 2001. After a few months, everything happened with
Playboy.
